27 August 2018
That's five days later than what was rumored earlier (the Pixel 2 duo was unveiled on October 4 last year).

Hopefully not as bad as duo pixel2, leaving geek with pixel xperia xz2 and pixel z3 play and z3 force

Both Pixel and Pixel 2 are amazing... Sure the Pixel 3 will fallow the path!!! notch or not... 4gb ori 6gb of ram... Be sure Google will take the best decision for a great phone!!!

Yes... you can say is ugly or not... but you can't say if is good or not!!!

OMG. To me, it looks hideous with that notch! I'm passing on the Samsung Note9 this year because of its locked down bootloader and the international version not have all available frequencies for Tmo USA. Now, this, my only option looks horrible. I hate, hate, hate notches. I guess need to keep my Note8 another year and hope 2019 will bring better options.

USB C headphones generally sound WORSE than headphones with 3.5mm connectors because USB C headphones generally lack a DAC, fyi.

Pixel 3 renders look acceptable! Even without headphone jack, I'll consider it if they provide type C earphones in the box as in the leaks.

I saw sample photos of the Pixel 2 on the web and they look great, but the the phone is let down on the spec. There is no 3.5mm jack, so I can't listen to music in my car, unles I carry lots of adapters. I also like wired headphones. They don't have a memory card. The phone is capable of 4K video recording, but you can't save those videos to a memory card. There is no FM radio, which is handy when you don't have data or there is a great programme on the radio.

Whackcar, 27 Aug 2018Actually there haven't been that many leaks regarding the s... moreThat's my point. The article said the "the smaller model didn’t get away unscathed" but I haven't seen anything about the small one recently.

I don't like large phones (even last year's small one is bigger than I want) but need a new phone. I keep hoping they will keep the 5" screen (even if the stretch it to 18:9) but get rid of the bezels and make the phone smaller. I don't expect that, the 5.4" rumor seems most likely, but I keep hoping it will be in 5.0-5.2" range and smaller than my old HTC One M7 that I loved.

Google fans are surely excited how the Pixel 3 will look like.

Also, Google has made a big deal about adding notch support to Android 9.0 Pie. That's why the Pixel 3 XL has that notch in the first place... It's Google telling their users to get used to the notch. :S

Breaking news (or rumors): Google ostensibly created two Pixel 3 XL versions and deliberately leaked one of them to test the waters. Looks like like we are getting another Pixel 3 XL in October. Thank God.

As I have always said, they are mid range devices with top tier cameras. This year, they will be bottom end mid range devices with great cameras. What would have helped would have been decent sized batteries, sadly, the Pixel 3xl appears to have a battery that you would want in the smaller Pixel 3. This means only one thing, the smaller device will have a horribly sized battery.

Google has made the worst looking flagships 3 years in a row now. The first Pixels were a copy of iPhone design, the 2nd one was a very generic design, and the third one has gone further in the wrong direction. Add to that the fact that these phones have the worst specs out of any flagships (particularly the RAM & Battery), and you realize that they're the worst phones you can buy. If they were priced like the Nexus-lineup, then they'd be worthy of praise and glory, but they're priced the same as other big-name flagships, which makes them the worst purchase possible.
