27 August 2018
That's five days later than what was rumored earlier (the Pixel 2 duo was unveiled on October 4 last year).

Dazrin, 27 Aug 2018What new things have we learned about the small one recentl... moreActually there haven't been that many leaks regarding the smaller sibling. We still don't know for certain it's screen size & battery capacity. The rest of the specs should be same.

The one big difference is that the smaller one doesn't have a notch, which makes me think it will sell more than the bigger one. Most people buy the Pixels for the camera anyway (which is same on both), so they won't mind settling for a smaller display in place of a larger but notched one.

Dazrin, 27 Aug 2018What new things have we learned about the small one recentl... moreI was just going to ask the same. The 3 has had minimal leaks, aside from the shared features. These two phones are likely DoA, dur to their paltry batteries, and odd looks. The xl is almost as big as a Note, buy with a mediocre battery.

The Voice of Reason, 27 Aug 2018Hopefully they have decided to redesign the XL version afte... moreIt takes almost a year to properly design a phone and that phone is already in production so it's set in stone. Best they can do is hide the notch.

Hopefully they have decided to redesign the XL version after receiving so much flak from the Internet. On most websites the huge notch was laughed at.

What new things have we learned about the small one recently? I don't see anything new there beyond things that are most likely the same between it and the XL (dual front camera specs, etc.)
