Vic4BBM, 28 Aug 2018Seems like G7 One is rebirth of Nexus with LG. With SD 8... moreIf the price is right, and by that I mean sub 300 €

It seems that G7 one will be my next phone.
Although I cannot understand one thing. Its quad DAC (the main reason I buy LGs) needs special software of some sorts, at least a driver. How will this be implemented in a phone with Android One?

Way too small batteries. Quite powerful, but not_so_energy_efficient chipsets require quite a bit of juice. That's something 3000 mAh battery simply can't deliver, no matter how many tweaks LG would incorporate to its Android variant.

BTW The use of SD835 and - especially - SD821 looks like they've a shelves full of somewhat outdated parts...

1101001, 28 Aug 2018Question! Is SD670/710 better than SD821?I went ahead and did some research for you.

Based on benchmark scores, the SD710 is better than SD821, and SD 660 is inferior to SD821. I didn't find any benchmarks for SD670, but it would probably be equal to SD821. Hope that answers your question.

Looks like LG have no bigger battery than 3000 mAh... shame. I will never buy these phones, only because battery is too small. LG, wake up, people need bigger battery

Both of these phones could be successful if they're priced low. The One version is the more appealing one for sure.

The G7 One sounds like the phone I've been waiting for. Acceptable dimensions, Android One, good hardware, expandable memory, USB-C and a headphone jack.

I like this. You can get a new phone for the price of what you usually buy an older flagship. And it still is a flagship

Seems like G7 One is rebirth of Nexus with LG.

With SD 835 and pure Android, it will definitely be a wonderful buy.
