Yes, most of them would bought a microSD card. But the availability of a higher storage isn't widely available.
You say 128GB storage is enough? Only for the people like you. But for the others. It isn't enough!
The latest sony flagship device already cost €900. Same as the 256GB S7 edge released 2 years ago. And 256GB flash storage is already available since 2016.
How many 4k contents can you store on the microSD card? Let's not forget the 960FPS slow motion capture.
Cloud storage is only useful on metropolitan areas. If you go outside the metropolitan area or out of the country. You won't get the contents that are stored on the cloud storage. You should have known the limitations of cloud storage you know.

After Sony Ericsson pinnacle age, I can't stand any Experia series more. They always one step behind competition. I'm dissappointed because I still have hope, Sony will make it happen again.

Sony is a great brand, they've been around for ages. So when they out any device, people expect it to offer better experience than anything.
Their midrange is poor, and their high end a bit overpriced. And until just recently, their camera performance wasn't on par with the Sony name. So people would naturally complain.
I've owned a lot of Sony devices in the past, and all I can say is that phones releases under the Sony-ericsson brand gave me better experience than the ones under Sony alone. That kept until three years ago when I just had enough. Ironically,some 3.2 MP night photos taken with my k800i look better than the "superior auto" ones taken with xperia Z which I couldn't stand after a week of usage... but that's just me complaining
It's good to see that Sony is making an improvement lately, in terms of hardware choices and software optimization (and benchmarks and users say that each year) but it's still a pricy one. And they could still be better, I know it because until now no brand made me happy as much as Sony and HTC back in the days, that's what drives the complaints: we had better experience and we want that back ;)

Majority of other users take lot of selfies, most take 4K photos of their friends, make slow motion videos, and even more! So how can you be sure that 75% of people who bought a smartphone doesn't have more than 20 to 30 Gigs of storage data on their phone when the chinese market is already offering android smartphones with 512GB of internal storage? Take the Asus ROG phone for example. Many people are now planning to get it because of its better storage, excellent cooling system, and is overclockable.
From the sony's standpoint. They are featuring a lot of camera techs, 4k techs, music, and even more. Of course 128GB is more than enough for the likes of you because you never use the phone to its full potential. I have a lot of heated arguments with other commentators in regards to this problems with sony xperia smartphones. So I know which type of user you are.
Btw, that 75% of people that you're talking about? Where's your actual survey? Where did you conduct? In your own country or the whole world?

I actually have zero issues with the fingerprint scanner placement. I think people who are *use to* it being higher complain about it. I think it's easy to find when it's centered like it is. and it's probably the most comfortable phone to hold that I've ever had.
only thing I don't like is the front camera downgrade from last years models.

It looks like it's about whining how Sony gives just 128 GB of storage, while they have to store 500 GB of cartoons on their phone, or about whining how shameful is to put an f/1.8 aperture instead of f/1.6, while they don't have a clue about photography and the "huge difference" between f/1.8 and f/1.6, and while they're praising the noiseless and textureless plastic look on the "best phone camera today", or about whining how big the bezels are, while they are dropping their phones cos they can't hold it due to curved this and curved that and the "bezelless" design, or about whining how they never gonna buy a Sony, while they are there on every Sony article whining about Sony, or about whining about people who buy Sony phones, cos they can't understand that not everyone wants a fancy, curved, phone with 3 notches and 7 cameras, which even thinks instead of them with its "AI" but you can't hold it your hand cos it's slippery as hell and have strategically positioned curves which helps the New Zealand bob team to win the Olympic games.

It's been getting annoying lately with people wanting the "Facebook experience" on review sites.
Some people think that comments should only be positive :/
If all comments were positive here, on other sites and company forums, problems will never be fixed. People will buy things and realize they were bad, and companies would just gather money based on their brand popularity.
