Im bashing anyone thats not using droid? clearly my recommendation was iphone, or does your literacy skill fail you here?

and my commend was direct at commenter who was bashing droid without weighing pros and cons on wp, focusing on negative (some of which I agree) so I did same for wp, making strict comparison with droid (again I've focused on droid cuz of the previous comment, as stated I'd recommend iOS though I'm not a fan of it myself)

          so learn to read.

@ciccone// symbian support will stop in future, think it was 2015 (its here somewhere in news)
but nokia is focusing on wp and wp only really...shame on meego :s
every company is looking at 2 or more OSs as option and nokia going this way seems like a really bad decision but they must made right choice, right? hope they did in few years...

Symbian, however, will no longer be the flagship OS but will still be supported for a fairly long time on lower end phones.

Seriously wp7 is weaker iOS with less contents.

And if you read tha comment carefully i starts with 'you havent used wp7 have you'implying that im, or at least i have in past. And matter of fact my current mobile devices are wp7.5 phone, blackberry, and android tablet.

Stop trying to nitpick, which you are not even vey good at, and try to leave constructive feedback.

Oh, in cae you dint notice i do support nokia as previous comment indicates if you havent notices busy trolling.

ps nokia is dropping symbian. Dunno why. Going all wp does not seem wise, i mean meego??

In terms of design, nokia trumps all!!! they have more hits than misses with their styles. Never boring and even of they launch several phones at the same time they all look different from each other unlike (htc, samsung and of course Iphones hehe)

i hope this collaboration between windows and nokia is a combination of good styling/hardware and a rocking OS.

AnonD-11222, 24 Oct 2011yes Nokia phones are useless because they don't offer stand... moreyou haven't used wp devices yet have you?
it is smooth, but that comes from restricted hardware use and closed system. fact that android have custom roms and ability to OC just kills WP7, not to mention generally much better hardware

-Mango sucks at multitasking (it is more of app switcher rather than actual multitasking atm)
-camera are poor in general (maybe this is due to phones not being nokia...seriously. HTC, samsung, LG are not getting this right. Though sammy done it right in GS2)
-batteries are poor as well, but expected from modern day smartphone. Seriously if it lasts day of heavy use, 2 days of moderate use, you should be happy
-lack of multilingual support in WP
-lack of zune integration outside of USA
-lack of file manager (unless you do that jail braking thing..but that voids warranty...and developer pulled it off the site too. Dunno now, haven't checked chevron for a while)
                          -lack of customization
-lack of any decent app (it used to have really bad search system too but mango kinda fixed it..kinda)
-lack of file transfer by BT, or by USB (talking about documents here. being smartphone and all but cannot ransfer docs via usb? :s)
-best WP7 phone right now is HTC titan i believe. even with resource hogging that androids are so fond of (hehehe) GS2 or sensation fares much better with their hardware. and ICS might change things further. I have honeycomb on my tablet and cannot wait for changes.
-wp really is bad at any sort of support too. When it was initially released last year they promised mango soon like q1 of 2011. that got delayed...and delayed...and delayed...now I'm due for upgrade and they released mango. Not looking back at it ever again.

seriously, any of points you mentioned, if you want that get iphone. I've used android since G1, but what you want is iphone, not droids or nokia. Especially not wp7.
Though I guess everyone has their cup of tea, mine is droid

Ashura, 24 Oct 2011No no no no no no no no my friend Mokia´s WP7 phones ... moreyou are right. it will likely bring Nokia back from the dead.
..however, once it does and wp7 (or WP7.5 if you prefer...) kinda kicks off, will nokia be able to fend off competitions from likes of HTC, Samsung, LG who have all been making WP7 devices?
Nokia smartphones were ok in competition, especially the fact that no one even touched symbian bar from very few models and smartphone market didn't really open up to general public until iphone. (see how many apple fans actually used good ol' wm devices or symbians etc. very very few)
in equal ground, I don't see nokia surviving in long term. At least, not as bing as it once was which is a real shame

If Nokia makesm some WP7-8 in the same desig as is for the N9, most people will fall in love.

If you haven´t hold a Nokia N9 you shouldn´t oipen your mounth. It is simply the mosty beatyful phone there is on planet earth.

The other manufacturers are hoping WP7 does well, as they are tired of paying Microsoft for every Android phone sold. Once Nokia sales take off, others will start marketing their WP7 phones strongly as well.

At first i would like to admit that i am true loyal customer of NOKIA phones. at Present i am using E72, Next my aim was to buy E7, but while i was trying up the phone, i found that the Nokia is very careless about it's touch. so couldn't make it.
However, i hope this phone will not upset me again while i am in shop.
and lastly, My request to NOKIA is to be sincere about the touch screen. look at the I-phone, HTC and Samsung GALAXY series.

                                        {{Marko Ahtisaari, Senior Vice President, Design, Nokia}}

I mean he was the one who was there ro design the N9.
and i am looking forward to his comments about wp7.5 too.

its a pity that n9 is not coming to india, though.
