    Just like a current smartphones doesnt look like any phone prior 2000, a smartwatch should evolve past that form in order to become useful. You are going to read much much more notifications than just the time.
    Really cant see how anyone can justify this but not the notch.

Yes a square watch makes more sense for text but reading time off a circular watch feels more normal and if they can make it easier to read short messages and information, that's all you really need. I'm ok with a notch as long as you can hide it and then every app that you launch automatically goes below the notch in the normal layout.

                    I cant see how everybody on the internetz hate the notch but are OK with circular smartwatches that eat even more content than a notch.

                      I don't think this will save android smart watches, but it's a step in that way.

                      Haven't owned one yet, and I don't want them dead when I want to buy one ;)
