Hello A22 is built on a a 12 nm manufacturing process clocking up to 2.0 GHz on each of its 4 cores. It's more powerful than octacore Snapdragon 430 and even 450. Check the benchmarks for confirmation.

WTF, Redmi 6 and 6A are already launched and available in Pakistan for a month now. Gsmarena should do little bit research before posting a story.

Redmi Note 5, then Y2, now 6 Pro again with SD625.
It would have been at least little bit of fragmentation had they launched the A2 Lite, but no. Now they would have 3 models in around 10k price with SD625, and with the same MIUI.

However moving to the redmi 6 pro its a bit sad to see the SD 625 chipset again. Wish xiaomi would use the helio p60 or SD 636.

With mediatek SoC, I doubt if Redmi 6A will be as good as 5A.
However, can't predict anything about an Indian customer.
I am myself an Indian too.

Dumping of outdated SD625 SoC which Xiaomi has in tons is being launched in various form factor continues, just like Samsung.
