Their DxO score is that high because the 40MP sensor serves for the zoom. The pixel doesnt have optical zoom, ergo the score suffers from its lack But if you leave that (and the bokeh) out of the equation and look at the really important categories, they are not that far away from each other.
But, i wouldnt call that site a good reference as they give the p20 a 98 on stabilization when is vastly know that its just available in one mode: 1080p30
So how can you give them that high number when its vastly inferior to all other phones?

I know all you Note 9 users are trying to justify your purchase of that high dollar phone. I agree the 845 was a good processor. In it's day. Today's a new day and the K980 is now King. Heck the P20 Pro has been out 8 months and still no one can touch it's camera. Pixel? Good God that ugly slow laggy stuttering POS. Even my S8+ or Note 4 was a better phone than that hunk of junk. Man I'm just glad I read gsmarena and saw the N9 was last year's N8. Sammy's getting like Apple. The only thing that changes is the price tag.

I think this phone will have the highest camera rating in the dxomark. Then 3 of the top 4 will be Huawei phones. Yet many people keeps on saying that Huawei cameras are crap as if they are "experts" in photography. I wonder what experiments or tests did these "experts" performed in order to arrive at a conclusion that Huawei cameras are crap.

Best cameras- no.. most over contrasted and sharperned
Fastest processor- hmm lacks on the gpu side though..
Fastest ram- hmm seem like you made that up
NO Sdcard slot- CHECK so a supposed top end camera with limited storage space.. op thinking..
Largest battery- there are phones with bigger batterys
Fastest wired and wireless charging- double way to destroy you battery faster and require a replacement
Fasted cell and wifi- pretty sure Sony was leading in this even so the samsung note 9 has cat18.. over cat16 of the p20 pro..
So to put it bluntly i suggest you check your information..
