      DisplaMate has only Samsungs AMOLED reference values for its Samsung amoled screen test numbers. So their numbers can only provide information about Best Samsung AMOLED display, but certainly not about best mobile display...

        1. Both have same contrast ratio.
        2. AMOLED right now is the brightest OLED in the smartphone market. What are you on about?

          The XZ3 has polymer oled, same of Bravia TVs. RGB instead of pentile..


          LOL , Samsung makes 90% of mobile oled but could never offer 10-bit RGB with BT2020 certification.

          Then LG Display provides 10bit RGB screens for XZ2P abd XZ3.

                      I can never trust these highly opinionated/situational surveys, i would rather believe in numbers/facts.

                        Have to see how battery life is on it before Judging the size imo also as long as the Sony UI is optimized 4GB ram will be enough.. I mean the new pixel 3 is due with 4gb of ram.. and they make ram is software.. so all the we need more ram comments gets slightly boring.. when 90% of user prob didn't have any issue with ram what so ever.. then comes the poco comments a phone that cut back on screen quatily and then lieance so you can only view 540p from streaming services... seem a phone with a lot of hidden missing features.. I mean if all you seem to think that matters in a phone in a processor.. then buy it.. but I like to have a decent screen.. as I use it to view so much content.. personally the screen is the main contender now a days.. i mean people use phones to do more stuff than what you do on a pc.. as its simple and easy.. and lighter and you can just pull a phone out your pocket.. rather than having to boot up a pc.. or laptop.. do shopping watch videos catch up on tv episodes use facebook look at news globally and locally... buy cinema tickets.. pay for items in shops..

                            SonyMobile is part of The big Sony Inc, and its existance does not depend solely on its tech product sales.
                            Just as LG Mobile, or Samsung Mobile.
                            BlackBerry was and is...only a smartphone company, depending on its tech product sales solely.
                            Just as Huawei, Xiaomi, Htc, heck even Apple.

                            People should get that difference into their logic circle for once.

                                  That is what DisplayMate does. Researches only one type of display and proclaims it best, between technicaly all the same displays.
                                  Thus, this kind of referenced statistical research is way more valuable when researching about the best, even if it is without strict measurements.

                                      Even if it is true. I don't believe it matters very much. Sooner or later it's gonna have a fate like BlackBerry. Gone are the days of Sony. I just see two types of High-End phones in people's hands: Samsung & Apple then comes OnePlus in affordable range. I'm not saying that Sony is bad, I'm just saying that nobody cares abt sony now.
