Looks great. I'm not worried about the mechanical parts because I don't use the front camera that often. I hope it has a decent battery because G5 may use alot.

Manual Slider is better and more reliable than a motorised mechanism that can fail in the long run.

I would actually prefer manual, it remind me good old days of SE and Nokia where camera was behind cover.
Now people are so lazy and have lack of intelligence and they think that such mechanism is fragile and slow... like heII.... I still have SE K750i and it work perfectly, and its in better shape than some new devices that people have even if its made from plastic. So all is based on user, if user can handle simple sliding mechanizm it could be made from titanium and he still break it...

It will extend to the front on the sides, and could even on top, but probablby better not to due to symmetry. It must have area free on the bottom allowing for the screen to slide in and out.

I really hope that slide out cameras don't become a thing...
It would jam sooner or later and you'd be rendered with inoperable camera... trouble waiting to happen...

It has slim bezel, no notch, no iPhone X copycat camera position, FP under display, six LED flash. Mi Mix 3 won't fit on any protector case because of its sliding mechanism.

I really don't mind a top and bottom to the screen vs an ugly notch. Worst example is the Pixel3 and I hope no one initiates that.

Did not have a problem with slider phones before. They are arguably more durable than the corkscrew-esque mechanism of the vivo next or OPPO find x. It is easier to compartmentalize the parts with this method.

They are already too tall, 1cm puts them over the top. If anything they need to shave more bezel (from the bottom), not add more on the top.
What are you talking about? Aren't phones big enough to you? Do you want them bigger?

chances are, they gonna complaint it's hard to get a phone cover later on
