Why would you want to do that? if that's what you wanna do, why don't buy very powerful laptop? you use those softwares with keyboard and mouse anyway.
If you haven't heard, Adobe is currently doing full photoshop designed for iPad and touch interface. Even Adobe doesn't think they should bring the current full desktop version for tablet, because it's not meant for touchscreen so the user experience would be very bad, but if you are ok with mediocre user experience you can run full desktop softwares with your surface :) That's not enough for us, we demand more.

Our dear HTC has "woken" up to the fact and restored it on U12 Life if you didn't read the article. Hope those other Android manufacturers who ditched the jack restores it because it is LOGICAL. Steve Jobs is "rolling in his grave" right now because the 3.5mm jack which was present since the Original iPad is ELIMINATED. This is all your master Tim C(r)ook's fault.

We android users only give the logical explanations of having microsd slot and headphone jack as STANDARD. As for notch, it depends on one's preference. The problem we are facing is the LACK of a hybrid solution for our beloved, versatile, world's MOST POPULAR 3.5mm jack if manufacturers insist on removing it. Some manufacturers managed to solve the lack of microsd slot to a hybrid solution (nano sim / microsd) which we all can accept.

Pogo pins on the side of the device ... 12.9" device - it's just another fake render made by a some fan, that needed attention.
Hopefuly removing headphone jack will not turn out to be true, because Apple has the worst wireless audio support and audio quality.
I would like to buy some new tablet ... but this looks just like another OKish iPad Pro, nothing special, boring.

Apple seems to be pushing the "COURAGE" cult on eliminating headphone jacks on iPad Pro(s). Oh, the irony of "Pro" moniker when it doesn't come with the 3.5mm jack as STANDARD for the price which is way too much for a tablet (more EX$$ than Galaxy Tab S4). Who is going to bet the next iPad Pro for 2019 is going to come with a FUGLY NOTCH? Of course, Apple iSh**ps / Tro**s like a user named FinnishInquisition will "worship" Apple like one true "G*D" regardless of Apple's ridiculous / illogical decisions and BLINDLY buy it without looking at alternatives that comes with the 3.5mm jack as STANDARD.

I've skipped last year's iPad because they didn't switch to OLED...
Such a big screen really needs OLED... :(
