Bring this to the US pronto. Get it on all 4 major carriers and rake in the dough by default like Samsung did. (except this one doesn't lag like the Galaxy S)

This is the first real Windows Phone where many people will actually care. The best phone Nokia ever made in four years. The Nokia/Microsoft was barely announced 8 months ago, and look how far they came out with a sensational phone?

Battle for the crown in 2011 is between the iPhone 4s vs Galaxy Nexus vs Nokia Lumia 800. The best phone for each OS. Galaxy Nexus is subjective since there are so many Androids out there, but being a Nexus phone offers you faster updates.

Nokia vs Samsung will battle for volume global sales. Android vs WP in 2013 will be battling as two of the most popular modern OSes. Apple will win profit margins, but it will never beat Nokia in global market share.

This Lumia 800 is not only the most important phone Nokia has released after a few years, but it will easily be the most important phone for Microsoft's mobile platform. If it succeeds, we will look back at the Lumia 800 has the one that turned the tide for Windows Phone.

I love windows phone! I already have a Mozart running mango, so I know what I'm getting. I would gladly trade up to a Nokia Lumia 800 even though I've only had the Mozart for 8 months, but the price is too much when you can buy 1st gen WP handsets for under £200.00. Nokia and Microsoft need to realise that they must insentivise the customer to choose this new OS.

LMFAO at the pathetic android trolls. Expensive compared to what, the sensation xl that retails at £480+ or the GS2 running outdated software (12 months old and counting).

This phone will outsell the galaxy s2 by a factor of 2-1 in Europe/Asia.

Im definitely getting myself one..and for me, this is THE phone. The long wait is over, iphone, move over.

IPhone and Nokia 800, all I know is that Android's going to lose a lot of customers next year. Instant OS updates ftw!

untill 2010 nokia sets were cheaper...they were good at affordable pricing...but the extra hype created by android and iphone since 2011 forced them to do unworthy pricing for hyped marketting strategy like iphone..but whereas lumia 701 costs around 200 € less than lumia 800 with 90•/• same specs..but at this specs we can't tell lumia 800 as a flagship device..there is nothing in this device to make hype,so they shall have reduced its price to much lower by this year..

Asian countries have lower labour costs compared to european countries. Just wait for Nokia lumia to start manufacturing in china and india, you will get it for $350. this is the reason why companies are targetin asian countries to set up manufacturing units.

not that pricey. in my country new smartphones sell at 600 euros+ after they get a lot of taxes. and a phone with exceptional build quality (and european!), the best looks in market and a reliable OS i think it deserves every penny
