I just am not ready to pay iPhone prices! But the os is just fine along the updates.
Yep, the battery is too small in those phones too! That I definitely agree, but that is the Main problem, not the iOs itself. That obsession of making slim phones is just bad. My Android phone is not too thin and battery is reasonable big. One reason to use Android phone vs iPhone but as I said the os in Android is more buggy...

Planned obsolescence, plain and simple. And people want to pay premium for Samsung? Hilarious.

And they have bad battery because they get small batteries that therefore degrade faster from their already small capacity.
And the low ram count is one the biggest reasons they crash more and why the updates slow them down more.
And apple knows all this without a doubt ad thrives off it. And with things that is crazy people praise them for it. But know and thrive off that denial as well.

Note 5 most poor quality phone, it did not even last 18 months as the PCB of the phone simply failed.

iOs has been superior in its updates IMHO. iDevices on the other hand Are not best bang for the bug in most times. iPad may be the best tablets you can get for you money. But iPhones most likely not. But their iOs updates Are among the best. There Are same problem as with Pixel devices that rushed release will bring bugs, but They Also make quick fixes.

I am really confused when someone mentions monthly updates and Samsung. Up until 3 months ago I had literally every single Samsung flagship and I was receiving security updates every three months, at best! So, gsmarena, please stop telling lies:)

When security issues arise, it is the consumers fault because they did not have a second or third job to keep buying new phones or gadgets.

Google has promised 3 major updates and another year of security updates for the Pixel 2 family.
Oneplus recently announced a third version update to the OP3 family, further patches also going to be there.
Xiaomi still officially supports it's 3-4 year old devices, not only flagships, but mid range and budget devices as well.
Again, Samsung=/=Android
