This is just going to be another disaster for bb . Although it may do some sales but it will not impress each and every one out there . Come on rim your taking out the only thing you are good at . Native email and bbm . And this off course will not be released until 2013 . Shame . Just going for iphone 4s they are already giving their bbm alternative works without data plan . Imessage

battery life should be their main concern... I can't imagine a Berry running with 1,5Ghz dualcores and another graphic processor installed, with current power management and all that pushed online contents?

Lol.. you can only use your phone for only 5 hours running on 3G mode, before the phone drained the battery power to it's death :D

But BlackBerry already on the edge of existance, so you're obviously talking nonsense.

AnonD-26839, 27 Oct 2011True!! RIM is dying. And their phone aren't meant for hi-en... moreAndroid needs the high power to run an inefficient os. There will be a few new versions before it gets rid of the bloatware. OS such as Apple is far better written and more efficient, as should be the new BB os. You think hardware is everything when in fact it is only disguishing bloatware. I am a BB user and perfectly happy with its performance. So what about dual core battery draining video players and partime mobile phone. I want best communications, not video.

I really hope it's not too late for BB. And if not, if price will be too big, or there will be no support for android apps or no videocalling on Skype, less than 1 GB of RAM, short battery live, bad design,... any kind of miss, it will be the end for BlackBerry.
p.s. Whoever were those people at the head of Blackberry, they should be gone for directing BB into present disaster.

The... moreit's my case too. i own a 9700 bold. 9700 is a 2-year old phone and most of it's users already want to get rid of it and switch to a new device. it's hard to switch 9900 and ignore all the other superadvanced devices on the market. there are better display resolutions, amoled's, androids, applications, internet without a blackberry plan, touchscreens, superprocessors, so even as a blackberry fan i cannot close my eyes and get the 9900.
