While he have 4K tv at home. So if you cant make that much different, then why bother to pay more for just the bling of words. It's just another hype like the 3D home TV where you can watch 3D movies with glasses on. I have something 400Hz 3D 42 inch in other larger room and i have never used that 3D glasses or movies on it and it's something 3 plus years old. There is not enough content for it or the content is not what i am interested in.

I dont own a console so for me gaming 3D does not matter or gaming 4K while console cant run 4K and cost under 500 euro. It converts 720p video to 4K or something. I dont own and never will console cause you need to own a device and then pay a fee to play online and buy games too when they are released with 70 plus euro. Makes no sense to have a box with what you cant play games online that are enabled for multiplayer. If i need to pay a feed then be like a APP that i download and run it on what ever device and it will allow me to play all games and even these games that get just released for a monthly fee.

And there so called free games that you dont get when you dont own the monthly fee for multiplayer access isnt free too and they are 2-3 years old so who cares for free for paid as it's not free. No free games without multiplayer access.

Again with the most popular when there is no choice to have better then 1080p in stretched version. over middle range phone as that start from 300 euro and up few have bigger resolution screens and then phones that cost over 500 more have. Some flagship even dont have more then 1080p screen.

I to be honest would not even buy budget phone that has less then 1080p. Over a year ago i had 91 euro phone that even had android 7 and 1080p screen

It's not Google's post, why did you think it was representing every existing Android phone?

Uh... I don't think this is really relatable data.

That's the max resolution for a phone. The higher ones belongs to the monitors and TV, maybe tablets over 10".

1080p has been flagship standard on Android since 2013 and it's still the most popular. Goes to show we didn't really need QHD the following year. Pointless battery killer. And QHD isn't enough for VR.

You confuse what's popular with what's affordable.

Those statistics don't apply to real-world scenario. The AnTuTu userbase is extremely small compared to smartphone users in general. The point being that the most common specs are much different than what this test implies. It is even pretty obvious when you see that it claims Oreo & 6GB of RAM are most common, while in reality that's far from the truth!

SKR..., 07 Sep 2018People usually say that there's no noticeable difference be... moreBut how do you find that difference? And at what distance from eyes do you hold your smartphone?

RGB 1080p OLED will look AWESOME!!!! .

People usually say that there's no noticeable difference between FHD and QHD, but honestly most of the times I find a significant difference in sharpness especially while reading E books, texts appear pretty damn clear on QHD! I never reduce the resolution of my S7 Edge just to save a tiny bit of battery!

Yeah, 1080p is the sweet spot. Plenty sharp, and saves in battery
