AI is in my opinion useless. Same like "Bixby vision" on Samsung... 90% of people won't use it - ever.
Their third camera on P20 Pro is already useless enough (had that phone) - yet they for some reason try to make more gimmicks...
If their phones were more durable I'd still use one, but it seems P20 Pro breaks like a pro...

Well Seriously i dont know whats the hype about the AI in nowadays camera(phones) its basically the old Scene Selection or Auto mode which was available in older phones (even the Nokia N95 had it...sort of) only now it can now detect what exactly is in the frame , can this AI do something extra ordinary (like driving a Car all by itself!!...[huawei ;)] ) come on we
still have to wait....

And what exactly will that "AI" do? Decide where i want the focus? Or how do i want the photo to look? Or will it just ridiculously boost the saturation and sharpness, while trying to convince me how good the photo looks?

S Yu, 10 Sep 2018Huawei's processing doesn't just oversaturate colors, it do... moreYup their existing AI camera mod is pretty bad, but sometimes useful. Well u can always turns the Master AI off where the image processing are acceptable. And they already addressed the overdone AI mod, and likely to be improve in Mate 20 series finger crossed (love previously mild image processing in previous Mate 9).
