The company said as much and even shared a screenshot of the lockscreen.

The OnePlus 6T looks like it'll pack a bigger upgrade over the 6, than the 6 did over 5T.

    what a tall screen!

Boy Oppo, better make sure they have the bugs worked out of the OP6T, when it goes to T-mobile! Pretty much EVERY Oppo OnePlus phone, has suffered hickups out of the box, from hardware issues to software bugs that require patch after patch to get working properly. If they blow this, no other carrier will touch them for branding purposes, which in the USA market, means a lot! For some reason people here think you still have to buy a phone from a carrier...probably because people here are not "use" to paying full retail for a phone, so the carriers offer zero interest, and sell the phone full retail, ripping off customers with overpriced service. Unless you get carrier branding in the USA, you have to "pay" full retail and no one wants to pay more than 40-50 a month for a phone. Apple/Samsung have such a stranglehold, it's hard to break in. Just look how the U.S. government treated ZTE & Huawei. I'm still convinced there was a ton of bribe money from the Apple/Samsung bunch that lead to tossing the other brands to the curb.
Oppo better get this one right, if they want OnePlus to really sell in the states. People won't put up with bugs here.

Smartphones Fan, 11 Sep 2018Why americans are so obsessed with fkin oneee pluuus phonee... moreBecause Oneplus unlike Xiaomi and Huewai can find other countries other than China and India on a map. Oneplus fully supports North America's LTE bands. The other 2 big Chinese companies cant even find the US let alone South or North America on a map. Maybe when those two can release an actual world phone we will be happy for them too.

1010 in decimal is 10. The 10th month of the year is October or I am just over analyzing it.

I would not even buy a phone without fingerprint scanner, whether it be an under display one or the physical one.

It has face-unlock. I double tap the screen and it recognises me even at an angel. Then if I pick it up, the fingerprint scanner is on the back where its easely accessed.

All you have to do is glance at... moreHere imagine this, you are having a lovely dinner, and your phone is on the table and u just wanna browse through Instagram, to eat your dinner you need to use both your fork and knife, you put your knife aside for a while just to unlock your phone, u can do it easily with a on screen display fingerprint without even taking your phone off the table or you getting off the chair for the face unlock, giving that your phone is kept a bit far off so that no food or drink spills on it. Try to do that with an iPhone, then talk mate.

r33fd, 10 Sep 2018Can someone please explain to me how will this work ? Li... moreNo I think that somehow its "always scanning", I think it works with waves that bounce off your finger and then recognize them. So its not the display, whenever it detects a fingerprint that bounced back it turns on the display.

Dont quote me on that tho...

OnePlus 6T is shaping up to be the best $550 offering of 2018. High-end specs + trending features (waterdrop notch, UD fingerprint sensor, etc), & a highly competitive price. If they manage to make it IP67/IP68 (even unofficially, as people care about the actual water-resistance, not the certification) then it will be the best OnePlus phone to date!
