Indian smartphone market is the weirdest i swear! 1000s of so-called Indian tech YouTube channels and people swapping phones every other month (or year)! Electronic waste is going to be a major major problem soon! (indian btw)

Realme as a company is piece of shit. The last phone is good ,but they just rebrand oppo phone. Those people who didn't like realme 2 like me ,they just block them in twitter. I hope they die like other chinese company coolpad, gionee, lenovo, moto etc.

Kickasser, 11 Sep 2018Am seriously bored with all of you guys doubting the sales.... moreOkay. Thanks for that long story. XD

Well, on most countries, we don't really care on successive number of sales. ;)

Geric.770, 11 Sep 2018Let me guess, 370 units? Am seriously bored with all of you guys doubting the sales...
Do you think that its too big a number?
For India this number ain't big considering the population; also if I divided the sales by 7 to convert it into smartphones per day since the sale is only once a week, the number comes out to be around 26500 units per day for 14 days...
Have you ever thought about offline sales of companies like Samsung with the shittiest phones in this price since the online market accounts for only 36% of total smartphone sales?
The number is quite freakingly big...
Also, the smartphone will pip the overall sales of Realme1 easily due to the fact that gimmicks sell better; an average person wants a gimmick more than anything in a smartphone...
Notch and dual camera are gimmicks that everyone loves these days...
        This phone is bargain for the lower variant;
All this is coming from a guy who got his whole family involved in smartphone biz in India...
I have seen companies dying and rising from ashes and many Goliaths and Davids here...

I find this device (or the A3s) very attractive especially its design and price. Specs are decent too for a light/moderate user like me. What I really don't like about this phone is its size. It's just too big for me. I recently sold my 4-month old Mate 10 Lite to my friend for about half its original price because it's just too big. No more big phones for me.

Its because of people like you that foreign companies are selling their trash to India, exploiting their ignorance. My father uses an even cheaper phone, all he cares about is calls. There is absolutely no excuse for a 720p display today even at this cost, its predecessor was much better, and for 1k more you get so many better options providing competent hardware. A poor person will actually care about a value for money phone after spending 9k, which this is not.

370k people got duped. Should have gone for the first version. Better SoC, better resolution, no notch. Sure it has fp reader and dual cam but you are sacrificing basic stuff for that.

Especially compared to the Realme 1. The first generation was much better! But even foe this price, better deals can be found. I'm no fan of Chinese companies but Xiaomi has much better value. Besides if you're "poor" then why buy a brand new phone if it's sh*t? Some people are far too loyal to low end Chinese phones....

Is there any way of checking these sales figures?
I hope they are not just announced by Oppo, as a marketing tool.

You can afford an expensive device, good for you.
Doesn't mean this device is shit.
At 9k (8250 after discount), name anything better than this?
Some people even buy 50 dollar feature phones, I am sure you become uncomfortable even going near them. You have the money, so this device is not for you, simple. Why call a cheap phone "crap" only because you are rich.

For a phone at this price, the specs are cool enough. People that are criticizing it simply want iPhone at this price...
