Pretty sure they got to start with the Nokia 7 since it's an android one device...it would have failed Google if they started with a non android one device first(Nokia 8)...

sadh, 11 Sep 2018Trust me, Nokia doesnt care about their Sirocco. It's pure ... moreNot forgetting Sirocco does NOT have a headphone jack and microsd slot. That's why people who bought it are MUCH LESSER than the rest of Nokia phones in 2018. So Nokia is right to prioritize support to Nokia 7 Plus.

umeshk, 11 Sep 2018Any info about successor of 7 plus? ... looking for improve... moreYou can easily install the Google camera with HDR+ for improved camera dynamic range and since it uses a higher shutter speed, Ois isn't really necessary. In low light I don't think Ois is going to capture moving subjects. It would help with stabilising 4k video though.
As for the screen, contrast is really good, a massive improvement over past LCDs, images pop in the dark although blacks are not fully black like an oled, but you have a full RGB subpixel layout unlike oled. What I miss is the 1440p display of my old phone.
The screen colour accuracy isn't good though, it's over saturated like Samsung's adaptive display mode.
