I dont expect apple will sells much.
Maybe as low as HTC this year all due to a very high price compared to same specs like last year phones and tiny battery on a huge screens.

That does not however make me ignorant to say that budget phones aren't good. Budget phones used to be pretty bad, but over the years they've gotten better and better, and today budget phones provide very high value for money. I have friends and colleagues who use budget phones, and aside from looking less premium & having lower quality cameras, they're pretty competitive with higher-end phones these days. I mean take a look at the Lenovo Z5. It costs $200 & will satisfy anyone who's looking for a decent phone on a low budget. Raise that upto $300 & you can even get flagship level specs with the Xiaomi Pocophone... I hope my point is clear!

Time to admit it, budget phones will never be any good, a used iPhone 6 blows them all away with a solid margin, effortless.

"We were in the dark about the names of the new iPhones and while they’ll get an official introduction later today" but then says "Apple.com has already leaked both the names and the color options for the three iPhones." so....you're not in the dark then?

it all sounds dull, nothing to get overly excited about :( i think thats same with all new phones though, they all do the same thing. The race is over till something radically new comes out to make it exciting and must have. "Must have" isnt gimmicks either, i mean something truly revolutionary and these three aint it. Enjoy spending your money on something you already have.

For me, the naming convention are better be like this:
1. iPhone (for standard version/cheapest)
2. iPhone X (for 5.8inch version)
3. iPhone X Plus (6.5inch version, since were already used to plus namimg scheme)
And every year when they release new phone just add year to identify which version it is.
