hmm...so Samsung note 9 prices now doesnt seem over the moon afterall.. with 15% discount in Germany, 850 euro for 128gb and 1062 euro for 512gb seems better value for money. May be a clever pricing strategy by samsung knowing apple will launch new models at crazy prices.. was planning to buy my first apple device but looks like i have been shown the finger by apple! well, ! to you as well apple. i know it doesnt matter. you will still sell 100 million phones..

So it has one telephoto lens and one wide angle lens. That's good that it has both (and not other variants which are unnecessary.

But doesn't it got to also have a "normal" camera? Isn't there a need for one?

Darshada, 12 Sep 2018I still cannot believe the stupid price conversion they are... moreWell its not that simple as you put it.We pay our taxes including VAT on the counter for whatever product you buy including iphones or groceries.
As far as I know, americans pay their taxes separately at the end of the year and the amount of it depends from state to state(someone pays more, someone little or none).Plus they dont have VAT as we do!
To top it of,conversion from yuan to $ is more favorable than yuan to eur.So here you go your prices.

Whatever people said, I've never had ANY problem of lagging with the iPhone 5s, 6S or my current 8 Plus. In the end the problem was always the battery, but the 8 Plus has a very good battery life.
Everyone around me has an Android and they are all complaining about their laggy android phone having problems. The only thing they don't get an iPhone is the price, and it definitely not going to change...

I was a bit sad they did not announce the new iPads.
But nevertheless all announced features were consistent with the leaks of theist couple of months.
                                  Pricing was for me disappointing.

                                  1. No Android phone purchasable has an OS support as long as an IOS device, even considering the throttling debacle of last year. My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 had only 1 cycle of OS updates and it was a premium phone back in 2013.
                                  2. iPhone performance is over the moon, and sadly the sea of Android phones cannot match that.
                                  3. Bloatware: without the stock Android, you are bound to have something tailored. I have stock apps on my phone I have never used, but could not get rid of. This irked me ever since.
                                  4. Resell value: the iPhones tend to keep a better resell value, while the Android ones depreciation is usually over 50% after 12 months: https://www.gsmarena.com/you_can_sell_your_iphone_x_at_68_of_its_value_just_a_week_before_the_new_one_arrives-news-33141.php

Therefore sadly I decided to depart from Android and my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 after 5 years.

But honestly true innovation was only shown by Vivo and Oppo this year. Big manufacturers have to step up their game as this is getting embarrassing to watch year after year.

Samsung owners may want to take Note (pun intended, yes) that iPhones still come without region lock despite wildly different regional pricing. I think that makes it very clear who is the greedy company here, one thing is to pay a thousand for a completely unlocked phone, but a LOCKED phone at a thousand is just disrespectful to the customers, so demeaning and restrictive.

Huge disappointment from Apple, i really didn't understand being a user why anyone will bother about how small his/her internal chipset or other parts is. Seems like they're entering in to fablet world, leaving their significant evergreen size (lot of ppl want to access their device single handedly). As always if you would like to go for something new you'll have to buy their higher version Xs Plus. One thing I realised again, they're really great in making ppl fool around just with the name & fame.

                                        Apple's official video.

                                        https://youtu.be/9m_K2Yg7wGQ

After watching it, red iPhone Xr but more likely red OnePlus 6T. Jony just says it iPhone TENNIS. TEN-R just sounds better to say.

The Xs does have the better size BUT do I really want to pay the extra $250 for the extra gig of RAM, slightly smaller size, Telephoto, and whatever else? That extra $250 savings can help me get the AWS4 but it offers more cooler colors like the iPod nano used to do.

10R just seems like a holdover for something that will standardized (5G / USB-C) next year.
