Disappointing? How? These are great phones for Everyone else who doesn't own X, Apple userbase have around 1,2 billion iPhone users, 60 million of them have X, so think about that.

These phones will sell extremely well, propably better than last year.

    Well comparing the price and the specs i can honestly say this year will be worst in sales for apple.
    No innovations apart A12 which is nothing because A11 is stilla beast and a price which noone with bare minimum grey brain cells would pay for.

                    What extortionate pricing for such modest specs, and a rudimentary operating system. Insulting to the potential customer base. AVOID!

                      I don't think Apple would be able to sell as much as they expect! Prices are terribly wrong, everywhere there was a rumour that OLED prices have gone down, Apple shifts from Samsung to LG for reducing Display prices, but nothing happened! Clearly, profit margin this time way too high.
                      Had they be priced at $699, $899 and $999 for the XR, XS and XS Max respectively, they would have sold like hot cakes!
                      I hope Apple fanboys also discard Apple this time, hope Apple goes in loss this time, hope they learn to value customers!!!

                        Checking MacRumors and it looks like the delivery dates are slipping but moreso for the Apple Watch! Might be the first year I prefer getting the watch over the phone. It just feels more game changing with the ECG.

                        Once you use an iPhone, it's pretty much the same thing over and over. The holdout is for the XR this time. I truly feel the red will be the most popular color option because red appeals to both genders. Finally a red Apple I want to buy.

                        I think once we get closer to release, red becomes the most popular. We'll see who is right. I'm not into the coral like Jonathan Morrison is. Too feminine for me.

                        As for the AWS4, I'll probably get it. Need it for work. I need GPS every day. Might wait on a Black Friday deal. If it turns out to be disappointing, I'll just return it.

                            Comon guys lets show them by ignoring these iPhones now... Atleast they will understand us in the next Year...

                              XR is expected take half of the sales from these 2018 iPhones. I checked a poll from Nick Ackerman on YouTube and the XR took 56% of the vote among the new products people were planning to get.

                              It's a reverse of last year. The cheaper 8 series were largely ignored while everyone waited on the X. This year, it's the cheaper iPhones most people are waiting for.

                                    Hmmm, smart business move there Apple. I respect your intelligence and ability to maximise your profits. But I ain't buying any of the three models, I'll wait to see what Samsung's bringing in 2019, my current device isn't going to stop functioning now.
