LG's quad DAC has made me a believer. My G6 dual is still a great phone in all aspects and V40 will be my next, if it has a 3300 or bigger battery. I'd love a waterdrop notch though.

It has a tiny battery, and LG command very little mindshare or goodwill. They have meh cameras, as a rule. Pixel 2 likely beats whatever they are offering in the V40. Seriously, I am surprised that LG don't have a stronger phone game, they must get hammered in Korea, as the are always miles behind Samsung, in everything but audio.

Looks good to me. Specs also seem great on paper. Hopefully LG won't skimp out on battery this time. Also hoping LG has fixed their OLED issues by now. LG needs to price it below the Note 9/iPhone Xs to make it appealing. They can raise the price in a few years when they've gained a larger userbase.

My pampered phone once died without notice. I managed to save 90% of my data thanks to sd card. I won't buy a phone without one.
Putting sd card slot is not expensive...why manufacturer abandoned it?

Screen on the front, rectangular, button on the right and left side..
Well previously even android phone has 16:9 screen same as iphone or the opposite.
You can't deny that all android phone and iphone look similar in some place, physically and software
Buy a nokia 3310 or blackberry if you want a phone that looks different.
