Very exciting news. I'm really looking forward to this in my S9! Hopefully it'll bring the AI camera feature that the Nite 9 has.

Apple steals ideas.
The copy is either same or weaker then the originals.
The stolen is perfected and enhanced that you will forget the originals.
If not for googling and wikipedia nowadays, you wouldnt even detect or know whom Apple steals from.

"Android Pie came out in early August and just over two months later..."
The first para contains multiple falsehoods, but the above one takes the cake. Didn't know we were already in October.

The Essential phone had it a full generation before the iPhone X came out. The truth is though that the display panels that make the notch possible started appearing for reasonable prices around 2 years ago, so everyone started using them, including Apple. Its funny that they are first thought of when notches are mentioned.

Please take your time Samsung. I may like or dislike the final looks, but cosmetics is the least of my concern. What must be fixed is the core power management of the Exynos 9810 chipset that’s draining the international S9/S9+ battery like crazy. Heck, rollout the update for the Snapdragon devices earlier if you want. But don’t let it go unaddressed.

[deleted post]Nah, apple sucks. Never innovate since Tim Cook became the CEO. Lame OS, using old specs, removing useful features and only rely on superior Soc with insanely high price tag. Google should come up with their own creative UI and phones design.

But the saddest part is a software giant like Google trying to imitate iOS in the newest Android OS (Pie).

They tried so hard to make it iOS lookalike. What happened to their rectangular boxy material design? Stop making excuses for them.
"Why do people have to cry about everything?", It's called criticizing if you know what it means. I'm calling them out because i'm not liking their all new Apple-ish design.

Not everyone can be pleased all the time.
As for Samsung adopting rounded corners, well this is Samsung's fault that their implementation looks so bad. Google has nothing to do with it. At least google made it look good on their stock version.

"Android Pie came out in early August and just over two months later and we’re already seeing some of the new features to come for the Samsung Experience UI on the Galaxy S9+"
Android Pie was officially launched on 6 August 2018 and it is 19 September 2018 as of today. That is 1 Month and 13 days, not just over two months later!
What Math and timeline does GSMArena follow ?

Those rounded corners are so infuriating. Why do they have to go Apple way? I know it's Google's fault in the first place but please Samsung, you should defy Google when things really matter.
I'm hating Pie right now because how much Apple-istic it is. Gogle, what happened to your material design?
