Blankman, 01 Nov 2011As a smartphone owner in an area which has a poor 3G signal... moreYour Nokia and the Nokia company is on its last lap. WP7 and any WP OS device is done for, and ready to be scrubbed. Listening to ballmer you can see that he did not believe what he was saying. Rim is on the way out, and just see how fast it has taken them to blowout. Matter of time for Nokia, so keep your device for remembrance .

[deleted post]Do you think it is also made by Samsung and can be rebranded samsung ? You wish, and you sources are devoid of any sense. Any handset maker that uses more than a few percent ready made parts from a different manufacturer is now out of business. If you dislike Apple I can understand that, but fooling yourself does not make you any smarter.

Blankman, 01 Nov 2011As a smartphone owner in an area which has a poor 3G signal... moreThats the reason why i always prefer Nokia over other phones. Used samsung for 8 months but was tired with its poor signal reception. Nokia manages to give 3 bars when samsung doesn show any network bars. Nokia has worlds best antennas.

AnonD-26940, 01 Nov 2011i haven't bought an HTC since they pissed me of with their ... moreSome weak point I found on HTC was, low volume speakers (only Sensation and other have decent), low audio quality, bad antenna signal and very low battery life, other two (but not in all the cases) was a poor Bluetooth signal and weak WiFi performance, I'm not against HTC BUT their products are not made for my taste...

AnonD-25504, 01 Nov 2011You are totally a MORON. From where you heard that apple us... moreNot quite right

You see quietly Apple, LG and HTC has been "changed" internal hardware in order to not supply too much Samsung components, is clear if those "grab: other companies parts, Samsung will have very high losses in that ground, and less control over today's technology"...

AnonD-24476, 01 Nov 2011Guys how about signal reception of HTC Phones? Im thinking... moreAs a smartphone owner in an area which has a poor 3G signal. I've noticed differences in antenna quality in the last year.
The iphone 3GS I had couldn't even get a 3G signal. My Nokia performed much better with 2-3 bars on average, and the SGS2 seems to get about 1-2 bars.

Guys how about signal reception of HTC Phones? Im thinking of switching to HTC but what i want is better signal reception and strong build. Only reason for me staying with nokia is for tier Awesome signal reception and build quality. Even samsung has poor signal reception compared to Nokia. Expecting HTC Users to reply honestly.

2011 has been an interesting year, and I believe will be a year of inflexions. WP7 has entered the scene, as is certainly a game changer. Industry players are quite fedup with Android, as are users uncertain of updates.

In my opinion, Apple's strategy has never been about dominance, rather more on sales and profits, so I predict steady sales from them. Android however, has faced a lot of grumbling, especially after the Motorola merger. Samsung and other manufacturers have probably been looking for a way out, but had no alternative to Android, until now. WP7 is poised to take over as the OS as choice, but it depends on Nokia first. The others are adopting a wait and see attitude, and will join in once Nokia posts encouraging sales.

Either way, it would be difficult to predict the outcome for 2012 with any degree of certainty, but I can predict that it will be very interesting.

i haven't bought an HTC since they pissed me of with their treatment of hero, but now they are the first to send OS updates, battery life (which was their weakest point) improved a lot and they are trying to improve the speakers and camera segments,, software wise they are best to provide android devices,, but seriously i expected samsung to be the one pushing apple away!
