I think they did cover it as well as the 10000 associated rumors before its release. Believe me, people knew the Sprint store was going to be carrying the iphone 4s on Oct 14 for $299 well before they made a commercial.

In my opinion it is a much better looking phone and the screen when put next to original sensation is much more colour rich not sure how but it definitely is! Obviously battery taking a bit of a caning at the moment whilst is new :-) but still has 40% now and been on since 7am where as my original sensation would have needed charging by now!
Will be interested to hear what you think when you get yours!

HTC are making more phones than I've had hot dinners. When will they learn, Don't over do it! Concentrate on bringing out 1 or 2 High spec phones and go toe to toe with apple/samsung & Nokia.

It always confuses me when I see the word "phone" and 4.7" or 5" screens in the same line.
I would think anything north of 4.5" should be called a tablet; or atleast a megaphone or something.

But shipping is a problem - best bet would be to get your friend in the UK to buy one and bring it with him.

Got mine today on upgrade from o2 with the beats solo on ear headphones and have to say the phone is awsome! It is massive but the screen is fantastic in fact i have got the original sensation and the xl is much more colourful and much faster even though it is only single core! just goes to show dual core is not necessarily the be all and end all! The build quality knocks spots off all the other brands! all in all so far very impressed! :)
