Apple mentions AirPower charging mat in iPhone manual, should someone tell them?

21 September 2018
The long-forgotten AirPower wireless charging mat that had to be released this year makes a surprising appearance.

No don't tell them. Let Apple and it's fans live in their utopia.

After all, it has only been more than a year, since they spoke about it during last year's iPhone X release.

        "Coming soon....."

Haidy, 21 Sep 2018I don't have anything to comment except :DIn my case it's XD

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2018They probably realized how dumb "AirPower" sounds and neede... moreOut of all, you mock apple for their naming?
Huawei named everything Artificial Intelligence!!! AirPower makes sense as it's wireless power and apple use the Air name for anything wireless, thin and light. iPad air, MacBook Air, AirPods.
            It's an ok name.

I don't have anything to comment except :D

They put it on the manual for future use. You know, eventually the AirPower pads will come out, and then that manual text will make sense. There's a reason why they also wrote "or a Qi-Certified wireless charger" meaning "Use competitor pad in the meantime".

They probably realized how dumb "AirPower" sounds and needed more time to rename an existing product so they can peddle it to their sheep xD

Its a great marketing trick by the masters of advertising know as apple.
They want to woo us with surprises which are hard to keep due to INternet \m/
