I think they took the right stepping stop producing this model 600. There were going to be enough Belle running devices and I couldn't find 600 fit anywhere. It would be waste of resource.

The price 600 would get, the existing handsets of Symbian^3 will already reaching under that so the more logical pick would be grab an old N8/E7/X7 or so model and install Belle on it. You have got a lower-price Belle running handset.

Im guessing Nokia goes to plan B for the 600 range of phones. Maybe the new 600 range will be windows based instead of symbian. After saying that it doesnt look good for a company the size of nokia to announce a handset then ditch it just weeks before its release.

I guess it is canceled because of overwhelming similarity to Nokia 700.

I agree with this move. In my opinion Nokia should produce more focused portfolio, less phone models with high quality and distinct features.

its a pity nokia cancelled this phone. On specs it was the best phone in its announced price range.

The Nokia management should inform us immediately if one of their mobile phone which they already introduce to the people will not push through. It's good we have the Gsmarena which report to us immediately. Thanks Gsmarena!!!

AnonD-20247, 01 Nov 2011Who wants 600 when there is 603 ?I think rA@% has the answer. Sort of. The 600 should've been a music phone with quality and loud speakers and built-in FM-antenna. The 603 look rather a generic model.

Nokia, you need to bring back symbian Belle and on a N9 like device. Nokia fans like symbian because it make sence. Nokia supporters are still out there, just bring it out with the right device. Nokia, invest in symbian3 and you will invest in your future!!!

That's sad...but maybe even better for Nokia.
There are 701, 700, 603...why wait for something with lower specs when they are Asha line around the corner?
Production line of this model would be a waste of money so I think it was a good move. But strange and a little bit problematic for Nokia when it comes to PR.

I think Nokia has taken a right decision. Now take time and Directly Shoot the All Smart Phones. Smart Phones Should be like Galaxy & Iphone. Take More thn that... Beat All the Models. Concentrate shld Designe and Secondry Camera.... God Bless u...
