I remember the T-mobile G1 and the HTC Dream too.

It's sad to see HTC, go down the way it went. But then again, they brought it upon themselves with ridiculously bad decisions (like removing the 3.5 mm jack).

    Happy copying and catching up.

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2018Ya 88% but how much percentage with latest version of andro... moreGet an iPhone XS then.

The Snapdragon 835 that will power the Google Pixel 3 and OnePlus 6T looks like it is still way behind the A12 Bionic. You get the fast updates and up to 5 years instead of 2. Better aftermarket support too.

I hate updating for the simple fact I have to restore it again and it usually drains the battery more even if we restore it. I prefer the software it came with. That's what it was optimized for the best.

I still prefer Android though. It has flaws like fragmentation, jank, skins, and lack of privacy but I still hate iOS more. All that power only to be restricted. Still no file manager and still needs to sync to iTunes.

I would sacrifice "smoothness" for "versatility"...

        Happy Birthday Android

Happy birthday, Android. The best mobile OS ever from the best Peeping Tom company ever.

T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) started it all. Thank you, Andy Rubin. My Essential Phone is my favorite smartphone ever. The Pixel 4 will be my next phone.
