I think overpricing was a plan.
Moto overpriced Moto G6
Other companies launch their phones with price more but less than Moto G6
Now Moto launch their phone at same price as other phones with more specs.
I think they are competing with Nokia directly.

Seeing this one priced.. Mtorola should have drunken when announcing the price of G6 Plus, they could have mistakenly added 10k INR over the original price of G6 Plus.

[deleted post]The last line in the article literally means that there are no color options. It is indirect way of saying that the only color you can go for is black. Learn some grammar and spoken english.

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2018No way you can understand, made for technology lovers only,... moreyou are still living in nostalgia. motorola is not the motorola of razr and rokr days. motorola was already a tier 2 brand when it was bought by google. now under lenovo it has gone down further in the class chain. at least nokia's new phones still scream good build quality similar to that of old nokia. motorola other than the logo and that dimple has nothing of its own. the designs are generic as ever. xiaomi, oneplus, huawei all have designs which are far from generic and even if they copy(or not) apple's design they don't look generic. also the stock experience is no longer as good as it used to be under google. moto does 0 r&d today unlike huawei which invests 14 billion usd on r&d and also has no community when compared to oneplus and xiaomi. so in a nutshell moto has been dead and people thinking it as a tier 1 premium brand and still living in the early moto era.

Looks really good deal to be honest... Android One with 5000 Mah Battery... Finally Moto is trying to push hard in the saturated Market...
They must have got the bitter lesson from the recent Moto G series...

Too late watching the discount of others phones actually. And their cameras can't compete with what Xiaomi and others brings now with better aperture, improved stabilization and sensors, etc.
A desperate movement after the flop of this year and too late for copy a design that is already old in a saturated market. Customers will have already bought other models from other brands, or with the wait, they will have saved enough money for a Pocophone F1, a Mi 8 Youth, Honor Play, etc.
And in terms of design what comes in a few weeks are the screens without notch and minimum bezels, with manually deployable cameras more affordable than the motorized ones or only rear cameras with double display. Both in high-end and mid-range. I believe their next Z models are going to be dead to the market because they have no way out and go behind in design.

Seems sane price and offer.
Will give competition to Mi A2.
Motorola's main problem was timely updates, which is now taken care by Android One program.

Can't understand Moto's strategy, first they launched the G6 Plus at the most stupidly ridiculous price ever, now this at such a great price!
Android One, USB C, Bigger battery, better camera, better STB ratio, fast charger in the box. All these things over the Redmi Note 5 Pro, makes it a much much better deal at 16k. Though it has to be noted that with the Diwali sales incoming, the RN5Pro is on the verge of getting a price cut of probably 2k (same what the RN4 got last year during Diwali sales)

Awesome! Finally better pricing from Lenovo.
The only downside moto phones always have been showing is in camera department and Motorola One Power is no exception.
