Why all are you blaming LG who introduce NOVA Display (OB), First Dual Core (O2x),First 2.2 Budget phone (P500). They are working hard in R&D. Some model may be not get succeed this can happened with any Brand. Updates -- what about Samsung - Galaxy 5 and 3 died in 2.1, POP and FIT waiting for 2.3 (P500 already get 2.3), SE New W8 is 2.1 and same for all other brands.

yes happy ending i am using gingreadbed and it is fixed lag and all those things now i am waiting for 4.0 (ICS)

I got the upgrade to gingerbread yesterday (am in NZ) and am very happy with the increase in speed and so far a much better battery life.

What is this, slow news week/slow news month? After the flurry of announcements from last month, this is one dull a** month and a time to go off phones again completely. Start waking me up when Quad Core 4.8 inch Super HD Expandable screens come out with holographic 3D interfaces and holographic augmented reality.

I dont believe it before i see it.I've been waiting for the 2.3 update for 8 month.It was suppose to come right after the release..My phone shutsdown or reboots by itself almost daily for no reason.I cant trust this device.I have to use my old Omnia HD's wakeup alarm to be sure i get up in the morning.

Common GSMA, don't be so naive. Don't you know that LG has promised the GB update many many months ago.
And now only SOME of us are getting the GB update AFTER people exploded in anger and LG getting lots of negative press. The upcoming updates will be rushed.
Furthermore the LG GB 20L(Italy) update has more bugs than froyo. Again it hasn't been tested enough since they never intended to release GB. Memory is very low. Don't give me the 2x has only 512mb, there are plenty of GB handset having more than 200mb after boot, here it's 80-110mb tops with no installed apps.
