Not an Apple guy but if I had to get a new iPhone, I would have gotten an iPhone XS Max as well so that fugly notch is less obvious.

This is just to reboot the dying iPhone desire in our lives.
Wait for the actual numbers as the very high price is not good for sales.
And also do wait for smaller SE like iPhone release early next year.

I can't pass a day without Tachiyomi! //brofists My main reason for getting a fairly large screened phone (Mi Mix 2) was that reading manga on Tachiyomi was more comfortable ^^ My next phone will be even bigger, like the Honor Note 10 or similar, hopefully. So, any interesting mangas you've read lately?

I work in mobile phone industry and I can say that in UK (at least where I'm based) preorders are shocking for new iphones. Launch day was disaster at least directly at major mobile retailers. A lot of people who are coming from iPhone 6s, or 7 are going to either iPhone 8 or switching to s8, s9, p20pro... however there are some who are willing to spend £85 per month on a phone and that's without insurance (yes yes, not taking insurance as well lol), and most of these people are on minimum wage

Hey he is Analyst of Apple not any neutral analyst. Apple is trying to make their fansheeps fool by delivering such articles and make them believe that if they don't buy XS Max they will behind other sheeps. Hurry up other sheeps are ahead of them and don't forget you have to make Apple multi trillion company.
This the scenario you believe or not, cause I made one web application for one of the local dealer for prebooking of iPhone XS and XS Max and in last 4days they *only have 150+ prebooking. Which is 10% of last year's iPhone X prebooking numbers. It's a reality on the ground.
I'm not giving false statement it's a fact, but what this article is saying is a lie and trying to create hype.

Heck, by 2025 , I won't be surprised if Apple iPhone are priced at $3000 and there will still be queues of people waiting for these devices.

The iPhone doesn't have a lot of the stuff I regularly use, like split screen and Tachiyomi.

Sad facts, 25 Sep 2018Take a look at Pixel 3 XL. You will see why Apple is doing ... morePixel sucks exactly because it triesto be an iPhone too much. Hardly a reason to buy an actual iPhone instead.
Plus, it still has a better OS, better camera and non-proprietary charging port, so it's still a lesser evil. It's just not what android users want. We don't like iPhones, so why would we buy an iPhone-wannabe...

Well and the Honor magic 2 will utsell apple.
Anyway apart from A12 theses phones have nothing worth the money.
Rather buy old X or 8 plus.
