Huawei Honor 8C will be unveiled on October 11, TENAA already has the specs

It will have a taller screen than the Honor 7C (released this May), but will have a notch.

I really want Huawei to use Snapdragon 625 for such phones and sell it around $180 I would very much be pleased with that. In fact it would please many around the world.

    major thanks for this information. I am very excited for this phone. Honor 8C specification is really awesome. When I was searching for an Honor 8C phone, my eyes were on your blog which was the first in search.

      Only the P60 I consider as the powerful midrange machine. The older versions of Helio are very unquestionable.

          India instead has kind of become the 2nd China, all the device competition has come here due to availability of cheap local manufacturing (and the govt pushing it hard)...

            MediaTek on the other hand is a real low end SoC (except the Helio P60) that is powering most local brand smartphones in my country.

                  These models typically come with 10W chargers. Still better than $1000 iPhones

                    Leagoo Kiicaa Mix was the name. Was released some time 2017 Aug.

                    It's one of the most low end phones i have ever had, but still it was with FHD screen.

                      pl2rts, 25 Sep 2018why make screen so large and then use 720p resolution ?Basically the screen width is the same size as normal 5.5" in older phones 16:9 screen ratio.

                      Because of using the new bezelless 18.5:9 diagonal, the screen stretch up to the 6.28". Back in the days, mid ranger phones was on spot 720p res in 5.5" phone.

                      And bare in mind, this Honor 8c is not a mid range phone, its a cheap low end specced phone, so 720p sufficient enough for the GPU to run optimal.

                        why make screen so large and then use 720p resolution ?

                          A small correction: Kirin 710 of Honor 8X instead of Snapdragon 710...
