It's absoultely farcical that Microsoft called their amazing operating system "Windows" Phone. It has very little to do with Windows, never crashes, doesn't suffer lag, does not have viruses or other malware, is super efficient in every way... but people don't even consider to buy it because they assume it's like Windows (or like the old disgusting Windows Mobile).

If Microsoft renamed their operating system to something completely unrelated to the Windows brand and allowed people to consider it, it would be the leading smartphone operating system in no time.

After all, they didn't name the XBox as Windows Game Series, nor the Kinect as Windows Game Series Camera.

I feel sorry for all the people duped into buying Android because I am a former Windows Mobile user so I know how awful it is to have a super inefficient buggy slow laggy awful crashing piece of junk operating system on my phone. Yuck!!

Working in a mobile store, what I see is that Nokia, this days, sells low end models to older people, te younger people that buy high end Nokias are the resistants, but the quantity of high end Nokia models we sell, well we can count them with the fingers in one end...

Between, iOS and Android, well, the "fight" will go on, no one can claim for sure which one is better...

Personally, I prefer a droid phone anytime, and even have a personal grudge, not against iPhone, but against how Apple sells it...

And have no doubt, in Europe, the Galaxy S II was voted has the best phone in the market...

Oh god, why do all of you have to fight all the time? It doesn't change anyone's opinion because people want different things. If you want a phone that has stuff like USB OTG, one that can play 1080p videos in any format and one that has insane options and a lot of freedom, go for the S2. Also, you can download various personal assistants from the market. However if you want a phone that comes with a built in personal assistant and is trendy, go for the iPhone 4s. Also neither SGS2 nor the iPhone 4s lag, freeze or do anything of that sort. Fighting does not solve anything. :/

                                        the stats don't add up

The bottom line is all those manufactures neeed to sell on ratio 3/4 handsets with android for every iphone sale, secondly just walk down the road and count how many iphones you see.

window phone 7 can gain ground, but it needs to answer one question [such a simple question] and get rid of that buffoon steve balmer. At 1st i was dead against windows phone 7, still am to a certain degree, but something clicked this week, to convince me that windows phone 7, will still have a place at the round table of mobile telecommunication
