Thats why I said " more of a downside" and not just " a downside". Because it's small, Mr "Absolute Nonsense"

Darshada, 29 Sep 2018Thank you, I've been doing it for years and it's super smooth :)You mean you been trying to imitate cause iOS is horrible in multitasking, as ever of insufficient RAM amounts

This is the start of a new era so stop complaining and wait it happen, bet those apple fanboy didn't stop bragging about how good their phone are... pfttt

So you'll pay double for an iPhone because it can store more apps in memory per GB of RAM?
And although 8 gb RAM even on Android is an overkill, in reality it will still store more apps than 4 gigs on iPhone, although yes, iOS can store more apps per unit of RAM.

nik.007, 27 Sep 2018Man the way you are so sure about that, you must have used ... moreWell I used a lot of androids with twice more gigs as an iPhone. But the androids were the same or slower than iOS.

Bad code-optimization means bad performance. Even though you have unlimited amount RAM. Just like windows OS, but Windows OS only affects its CPU scheduler when facing with badly optimized program.

I won't buy any phone unless they put 16GB ram.

About damne time, this would be endurance champion for long time, probably still be running like new after more than 5 years. With 10gb of Ram it would be running any Android OS iteration smoothly for years to come, considering any flagship Android phone from last 4 years with 3 or 2gb RAM could run
latest Custom Roms without any issue. People who says is too much RAM never knows what they talking about, there is never too much RAM, there can only be not enough :))

For now, a phone with over 6Gb of RAM is just plain overkill, is mostly for bragging right.
What are you gonna do? Open 4 game and play them simultaneously (that is if one's can actually do that)

the last 4 years i came from note 4 with 3GB RAM, to note 8 with 6GB RAM, then back to note 4, and now on Razer Phone with 8GB RAM. i did not notice any difference between those devices, really. if i may recall it correctly, way back gingerbread android have had RAM optimization and have closed in on ios in terms of RAM induced latency since kitkat. in addition to it, samsung implemented additional layer of optimization since note 4 as evident on the phone using about 75% if its RAM even when idle.

but then again, when it comes to RAM on a smartphone- bigger should be always better, right? i mean, if it allows the phone not to shutter more background processes that's better, right?

Eh, even if 10Gb RAM is wallyware (at the moment),
it would still be cool to have bragging rights :D
