If you need 10 Gb RAM on your phone then you should seek help for your phone-addiction!
Most laptops have "only" 8 Gb RAM even though laptops are designed to multitask a lot while working!

    A phone doesn't need more than 4-6 GB of RAM. 8 GB is overkill. 10 GB? Ridiculous and useless.

      but its not about the amount of ram. Its optimising the software with the cpu and ram like apple do. bet it still lags. and will come with bloatware lol

        When it comes to this phone, I would rather text my EX than buy Find X. If that motor gets broken/stuck or jammed - I lost all cameras and it is more or less not usable, because facial recognition sensor is stuck aswell.
        Seeing test on YouTube it is not even very durable (it bends).

            Really these chinese companies are so weird to put 10 gb on a phone. Why the hell we require 10 gb in a phone. Even my laptop have 8 gb and its working smooth.
            I think they feel people are so full to get it.

              A bit overkill, many phones run fine even with 3 gig ram

                Does the SoC supports that amount?

                Or it will be physical 10GB and only 8GB recognizable?

My note 8 only has 2.8GB of... moreHaving a lot of free RAM isn't the best utilization of this most important resource, two things shouldn't be idle for real optimization CPU and RAM, if you've alot of free RAM it means your system can't utilize it fully, Samsung flagships are perfectly optimized and know how to use RAM, so when the phone is not doing heavy tasks it'll still make use of max. RAM and CPU for the given tasks instead of keeping them idle, on getting heavy load, it'll automatically free up RAM and use it accordingly for the task which needs it the most. High end PCs work similarly and that's how actual optimization takes place. A phone with 4 GB free RAM out of 6 GB isn't better than the more optimized phones having lesser free memory at a given time.

You know, Samsung installs a ton of "Smart" features which end up eating a ton of RAM. If you want a bloat-free experience with plenty of free RAM, then you should buy phones with stock Android.

                      Release it with LTE bands for USA already!

                            It could be useful for power users.
                            You can run Linux on Android device directly, without emulator. There is an app called 'Linux deploy', and it can install and run any Linux distro, which is compiled for ARMHF (phone cpu) architecture. It is nearly as same as desktop OS.
                            Microsoft released Windows for ARMHF too, but there is not any tool yet, to run it on Android. If you want to run windows smoothly, you need 6GB RAM at least.

                            I only need mini bluetooth keyboard, to turn a phone into a small Linux/Windows laptop.
