Not long ago, we used to have phones with 8 GB of storage. Now we got 10 GB of RAM. Real good job hiding the optimization failures in android with ridiculous amounts of hardware.

Not only RAM is important in games. CPU and GPU is more important then the RAM you have.
My 3GB RAM with SD636 run Asphalt 9 no problems but i still prefer to play it in windows.

On the other hand, more ram causes developers to bloat their app and or websites because uhh... more ram?
Lots of websites and app filled with shiny flashing crap that they stutter or become barely usable.

Let's hope there is a global ROM or the China ROM doesn't kill apps and not show notifications, it's so annoying otherwise I would have bought one by now.

Well, my s8 already has the same amount of RAM as my laptop from which I am typing this from, They shouldn't just push the RAM amount as much as they can, they should just make android better optimized and not waste any ram.
