Sunday debate: Are phones getting too big?

30 September 2018
With each release, smartphones are getting bigger and bigger by the year. Is that good or bad?

Well it is easy to find a phone sized device, but only mediocre ones....

If you want flagship specs, there are a lot of Phablets, but only ONE phone sized with FHD

I can live with a 5.5", but nøt any bigger.

I hate small phones. Average battery sizes and so hard to type on. Plus they're bad for media consumption.

I would love an edge to edge 4.5 to 5 inch phone. My last phone was Xperia X Compact and now this Nokia 7 plus is so big. It doesn't fit my pocket properly and I have to use 2 hands to use it. It is a mobile for gods sake, I don't know companies are looking for what kids wants instead of adults.

I still find the keyboard on regular sized smartphones fiddly so anything bigger counters that.

One can always choose Nokia 1, Samsung J2 & etc.

I mean, I think it's not the fact that they aren't getting too big, it's the fact that nobody makes anything small anymore, save Google, Apple, and Sony. Also, how does an S9 counts as a phone with a huge bezel?
