Nice from LG to bring this setup, hope the sensors are bigger than before!

Nokia with Carl Zeiss optic will be a lot better option than this i think.
LG was a great brand in past but in present they are below average same like HTC.

Odd that they did not put the standard in the middle. That ought to give slightly less issues when stitching images together.

This is the perfect setup for any smartphone camera. Wide angle + telephoto + standard lense is everything you need on a smartphone. This can't be replicate by just using a single lens (looking at you Pixel 3). Can't wait to see the Galaxy S10 using the same setup.

Imperator Neubaticus, 01 Oct 2018If you had to go for a triple camera gimmick, wide angle is... more" useless " monochrome allows XZ2 Premium humiliates Note 9, Xs Max and U12 in lower light.
The ability to record 1080p30 almost noiseless when other just show black screen..

Fixed f1.5?
Has LG lost their mind? Photos in good lighting will be affected. Too soft.
It is proved if you use f1.5 on S9 in daylight photos are awful...

I just hope LG finally learn and don't price it in line with the Samsung Note9 or the XS Max. Their sales show people won't pay that for an LG

Whackcar, 01 Oct 2018I disagree about monochrome being crap. Huawei is currently... moreInfrared heat camera xD, but they better just continue to improve lowlight? Although with a 1.5f aperture bright lit enviroments become a bit of a problem I noticed on the LG V30.

Imperator Neubaticus, 01 Oct 2018If you had to go for a triple camera gimmick, wide angle is... moreI disagree about monochrome being crap. Huawei is currently massively leading in low-light image quality. That is thanks to that monochrome sensor along with their advanced software processing.
For Huawei, i want them to stick with their setup, or maybe add a fourth telephoto camera.
For other companies, they should stick to Normal+Wide+Tele setup. Although eventually they'd be jumping on quad camera setup and then they won't have other option than monochrome... Unless someone introduces a new type of camera.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2018Please give it a 4000 mAh battery. Just a humble wish.If you did not join the bandwagon of non sealed battery users insulting removable ones, then you could go as high as 10000maH.

Looking promising so far. Hope the photo and video quality is good. The V30 was almost there. Hope they have improved the photo and video quality in terms of IOS, sharpness and dynamic range. Everything else seemed quite good.
And I hope they price it atleast $200 lower than the last phone. Atleast until LG captures some of flagship smartphone market.

If you had to go for a triple camera gimmick, wide angle is the way to go. Monochrome is bs.

Love the triple camera setup. This is the same setup that the next iPhone and Samsung flagships are supposed to have.
I hope the main snapper has big pixel size. The current 1.0um one on LG V30 & G7 is crap.
