Wireless charging, IP68 and NFC are must for all mobiles nowadays! With Pocophone F1, the lines are definitely blurred between premium and mid-ranges.

well it'll be tough for Samsung !! after all Samsung has a lot of 3rd party distributors , which raises the cost of the device !!
but on the other hand, companies like Xiaomi, Honor etc tries to cut down all the costs by eliminating all those 3rd party distributors ! so good luck with that Samsung :P

No need, we just need better quality, at leaat 2years endurance, fast charge at least equal to lenono, no need as good as motorola and sony, my galaxy fail just after a year, most friends on aame page

I do not understand people that work on tech sites or just read..
They want fast charging.
They want " wireless " charging.
But wireless charging is much slower than Qc 2.0.
It is bad for battery, it increases temperature too.

Samsung seems to have shaken up with the lost ground in the Midranged Category... Which used to be their 50% Sales and Profit (Mobile Division)...
Well they surely have taken things in their head and somewhere accepted the reality... And they are trying to get back, can see this with back to back good decisions...
Samsung just don't look after Sales and Profit but understand what WE the Customers want... The Profit will follow you again...

Wow good move I would say from Sammy.
My only point of concern is why they are not shipping fast charger with phone which are priced above 18k in India. A7 (2018) is super rich pact phone only thing that drew me back was no fast charging.
Stop the trend of killing one or the other features in A series Samsung.

Fast charging should be included in almost all phone which cost above 15k in my opinion.

Rather add half the price selling A6 plus with SD450 for 380 euros when Pocophone cost 300 with best CPU and GPU. Typical Shamesung.

What they need to do to compete with midrangers from other companies is make their crappy midrangers CHEAPER, not stuff them with more features to make them more expensive.
People looking for midrangers are not taking a second look at phones filled with features, they just want a cheap phone that can do everything they want them to do.

Wireless was in middle range devices already 5+ years ago and then it went away for a while. And then it was only in flagships or some low budget weird brands from China.

Give usb C first...and don't release SD 425 lcd phones for 250$ like u do now!
