They can't capitalise on BBHub app. They don't optimize it to the fullest and make it paid app for android. It's good but the effect on battery life.

They will not be able to sell 50 units :D I dont know what people of blackberry smoke, but they should stop it. In this price range you have phones like Pocophone F1, Xiaomi MI 8 se, Honor v10, Xioami MI A2, not even mentioning Nokias, and they come with snapdragon 450. They do the same things as LG, excet LG (even if ovepriced) actually makes great phones. This is going to be basically Xiaomi redmi 5 just with three times the price. How crazy is that, who is their customer?

Almost after two years since launch, BB had not yet able to deliver Oreo update for its overpriced KeyOne. It is still stuck at 7.1.2. I had paid 40K back then for this junk. I got Oreo update on my low cost Nokia 3 in April 2018 & shall get Pie update next year. For more than a year BB are still testing their stock android. Who will buy this overpriced junk now?

Pocophone cost same price and is a lot better.
Moto X4 cost same price and is a lot better.
Huawei P20 can be bought for same price also a lot Better.
As long as i did not mention Samsung Sony or Apple i can continue. These 3 brands would offer you same or even worse specs for same or even higher price.

Some people even trapped into their eco system (specially apple fans) so deeply that they have no other option to choose. But BB, Htc, Sony have to follow Huawei & Xiaomi's path or they will loose their market.

SD450 is a bit too much crap for the price. Especially for Blackberry, the one brand who hasn't have one top model in the current smartphone business.
I don't know what is behind it but SD450?

In these competetive times, can't believe why brands other than Sammy & Apple can come up with such overpriced phones.
10 years, even 5 years back, they could do it, when the Chinese unknown brands were actually crap. But today with Chinese brands having gained complete trust, how do they think they could move a single unit lol.
Like seriously, and this continues despite one casuality in the form of HTC already happening.
They can use their brand name, and sell like a lot of units even if they price something like this at say 15k,w which would still be over priced, but the brand name would leverage the extra price, but no, they would still price it where noone will buy, and then exit the market, as if it is the market's fault that they aren't able to sell.

That's really bad value.... SD450 for 300€.....I got a J7 Prime for $330 AUD (203€) and it has SD625 and Adreno 506 and fast charging.

For the same price i can get a Nokia 7 Plus one of the best built budget phones ever. Or i can buy PoCoPhone best value phone ever. Can anyone explain what is blackberry smoking?
