Well I have had a phonecall from my local Vodafone store who advised that they have 3 instock. It's "free" on a £50pm 12month tariff, but £150 on a £35pm tariff!!!. There is no way I am paying that much for it, just because they have put a larger capacity battery and 8Gb onboard. I will wait until it's a bit cheaper on an upgrade

    lol @ Rajiv Joshi!!!!!!!!!!

let me guess you want nokia to get these hand deliovered by playboy bunnies and PAY YOU £999,999,999 to own one of them too!!!

what you ask for is not technically possible yet in the comercial sector and even if it was the end result would cost so much nobody would buy one!!!

    come on be realistic!!!!

Our Nokia rep showed us a live handset a week ago in our shop, and unfortunately it just looks like a fake N95! For some reason it doesn't look as high quality as the original N95.

I also think Nokia may be releasing it a little too early. Perhaps they should wait until January to lauch it (9 months after the original N95); that way peaople have something to aspire to when think of upgrading.

...although it will be very interesting to see what Nokia comes up with next!

They sacrificed the lense cover because of the bigger battery. They also wanted to shorten the time of getting an instant shot. I think it's worth it because the battery was a problem.

I am using n95 right now and i know just how important the lense cover is , i like the camera in my phone, its good , i wouldn't want anything happening to it. the new sonyericsson 850 with 5mp camera also has an automatic lense cover, and most of the high calliber camera phones have lense cover. why not n95 8gb ?
