I wish it came with Snapdragon 835 from last year instead. Even last year's flagship SoC would be nice to have. The G7 One will get it.
Don't underestimate the camera. My Lumia 640 had an amazing camera for only $30. It was released in 2015 and had a better camera than the iPhone 5 from 2012. The video recording was even better.

Michael Fisher (Mr. Mobile) very much likes this phone. I like the fact HMD offers fast updates. Not as fast as Essential, but within two months. The Nokia 7 Plus got Pie just seven weeks later. Better than one year or never. The size and price isn't bad either.

How hard can i... moreWell, it is actually pretty hard, because of the way electronics are laid out and how the screen connects to them. Apple spent a lot of money for their custom solution, but they can afford it as they can slap ANY price on their phones and people will still buy them. You know you could've just typed "why phones have a chin" into Google instead of typing it here (same effort) and actually LEARN something this way

it is SO disappointing that HMD went with a phone that doesn't support T-Mobile's new bands. I was so hopeful about buying this phone.

Notch is there for the camera primarily which cannot be put anywhere else. The chin is there because you cannot fold a LCD display so you need to put the connections somewhere (which is why iPhones shifted to oled and the iPhone Xr is so ugly, expensive and thick ).
That said, this phone has a uselessly big notch.
