Asus ROG phone coming to the US on October 18

04 October 2018
Four months after it was announced, the gaming flagship is still not available in stores. Maybe that will change two weeks from now.

nah gonna wait till oppo create a gaming phone!! wake up people! oppo is the best!

nik.007, 04 Oct 2018But, but, but we still don't know the prices of both, right... moreWe already know the price of the first Razer Phone, so we can assume that the Razer Phone 2 would be priced same or close by.

As far as Asus Rog Phone is concerned, gsmarena's spec page for it has listed a very high price for it. Go take a look...

I'd like to think Gsmarena wouldn't write such a odd price for it unless they had a valid reason to do so...

Though IMO, the ROG would be cheaper, going by Asus' pricing strategy this year.

Should've released it a while ago. Not a great idea to launch a gaming phone near the end of the chipset release (SD845 in this case). But then again, Razer Phone 2 is also doing the same mistake...

Still, Asus Rog Phone is one of the better gaming phones to have come out of late. It's biggest advantage over the Razer Phone 2 is the AMOLED display.

On the other hand, Razer Phone 2 has a SD slot, and is significantly cheaper than the Rog Phone...

            Tough choice!

I love its design, and it has some pretty cool features. It took them a while but seems like this is finally getting into a real smartphone.

MKBHD's review on ASUS ROG beta product was good, but I'm looking forward to reviews with finished product!

Also, let's see about the price...

I would get it but lack of MicroSD card kills me (don't tell me about the 512GB version; it's about being able to transfer ALL of my media seamlessly without waiting hours for the transfer to finish via USB/Computer).

Otherwise, it looks like an awesome phone.

Wow, I thought this thing came out a while ago and had already forgotten about it. I hope they have some real marketing for this thing otherwise it will go completely under the radar for a lot of people. And its already a niche product.
