Huawei flagships are now in the same league as Apple or Samsung. They have established a premium image and it makes perfect sense to charge a premium price for the product.
I'm not saying phone prices should be as high as they are, what i am saying though is that if Apple and Samsung can charge that much and get away with it, then so can Huawei.

I don't think that Chinese flagship with price like this can be successful. Don't see reason to choose Huawai over iPhone or Samsung flagships.
