All fones have shortcomings thats why the companies keep bringing out new ones every five minutes to keep people who are a bit soft in the head dipping into their pockets to buy the latest, greatest piece of plastic b4 the next one comes out before you get out the shop.

Foxconn also asembles for Apple, Acer, Nintendo, Motorola, HP, Cisco, SE, Motorola etc etc. Foxconn puts together the parts that Nokia supply them. Foxconn is a manufacturing company, not the designners or producers of materials for the phones.

I would really not base the general price on a what a Finnish online store wants for it. Everything is pretty expensive in Finland. They want like 530 € for Galaxy S2 when in Sweden, just across the border, you can get it for around 380 € unlocked. There is already shops here in Sweden who are saying that the will sell white Nokia N9 64GB for around 550 €.

$964USD is exceptionally steep. But this is a very niche device and that store knows there are people who will pay that price.
iPhone 4S cost $849(?) for 64gig, but will break if you look at it funny. That durability, the 3.9in CBD and knowing you are not going to see 4/5 douchebags with one is worth the extra cost. I doubt it'll sell for that much. Though it likely cost more to manufacture than the $0.18 each iPhone cost. Also awesome that it's getting updates already.

i would rather buy the nokia n8 in new to replace my failing n8 at moment and the new 64gb card for les than this costs with more features
