Sorry, I only look at phone with headphone jack, so this is no go for me. I do not like it when companies in looking for profit, force me as a user to abandon my good headphones set.

OnePlus 6T is not worth even if it has a 3.5mm headphone jack because nowadays every other smartphone company gives more or equivalent features to OnePlus 6 or 6T at a way cheaper price. 64GB and 6GB RAM have become a benchmark now. Now, most of the smartphones under 20K or 15K has this combination with Snapdragon 636 or 660. The overall difference between the performance of Snapdragon 660 and 845 is less and it doesn't actually matter for a normal person. All that what makes sense to a normal person is RAM and Internal storage which is as earlier said he or she can get a 6GB RAM with 64GB Internal storage smartphone under 20K or 15K. So there is no point of wasting OMG more than 30K on OnePlus phones for almost the same features, screen size and build quality.

[deleted post]They never really cared. The first version already lacked removable battery (When Samsung and LG still had them) and sd slot. They've always been pathetic and adding a notch and removing the 3.5mm jack was the logical next step.

I am sad to see OnePlus at this time like not caring about what people think is still very important, I feel OnePlus has lost its own characteristics. I want OnePlus to follow Samsung's way of not copying other manufacturers and brands and always be persistent in maintaining their characteristics

When I owned OP2 back in the day, their senior executives explicitly confirmed, more than once, that they will give Nougat. Then for some months they just kept silent, and then suddenly, in the middle of some random thread on their forums, someone from Oneplus simply said something which meant "it's not coming, it's been so long, you people should have guessed by now". Seriously, a "customer-centric" company that need to post about every crap stuff, couldn't even come forward and properly accept their incompetence, and apologise.
Then, when the 3T came they said "this is just a one time thing". Come next year, at OP5 launch everyone expected this to be their only phone for the year, because, obviously, that's what they had said, right! At least they should have confirmed that they had plans for a 5T, but why hurt sales of a current model right?
They really are one of the worst brands alive today.

I just love how companies are so hypocritical. First Google mocks Apple, then OnePlus. And both companies did exactly what Apple did. I just can't wait when eventually Samsung removes it too. I shit you not, I am going to make so many memes for it. And don't you try to argue with me about the fact that Samsung will EVENTUALLY ditch the headphone jack. I'm not having that argument for the 500th time.
[Also, don't call me an Apple sheep, like most people did for embracing the removal of the headphone jack. I have an Android]

I was bit dissapointed by oneplus as i was waiting for it from july having 3ple camera stereo speaker better battery but what we get remove of 3.5 mm jack no 3 camera look like chinese phone lost its grace oppo phone with oxygen os still they increased price by 529 to 550 dollars thats bad i hate now oneplus made my waiting 3 months worthless without smartphone in 2018 is like sweets without sugar

I remember the good old times when One plus actually cared what the people considered important.
But those are gone.
The only company that actually does the never settle thingy is Samsung.
In terms of features they were always unmatched by any other phone.
But for that you have to pay...

Tue Focus groups by One Plus is just for show. They say that they listen to their customers and In headphone jack polls of The Ceo showed that people still cared for the headphone jack. Still they are removing it.
They should remove the Tagline, they are no diefprm other companies.
