When the battery is flat, the actual charging should be 25W÷ 3.7V = 6.756A(current flow at battery terminal). Ordinary lithium battery charging rate is 1C(1 capacity). A 2000mah battery is safe to charging at 2A without degrading the battery life and overheat. Charging s 2000mah battery at more than 3C is not a good idea.

-) making battery inaccessible by user by making iphone unibody
-) making EVERY iphone without external storage to force users to use icloud which is VERY INSECURE, as there are TONS of icloud hack and leaked private photos
-) removing 3.5mm jack to force users to buy airpod which is VERY EXPENSIVE yet IRREPARABLE, and need to be charged every day since it has VERY SMALL battery capacity.
-) and SO MANY MORE "planned obsolescence" done by your Almighty Company.
BTW, my friend have OPPO device with VOOC charger and did a test to compare it with other Fast Charging tech.
The result? His device temperature when charging, compared to others, is WAY COOLER (around 5 degree hotter than your "normal" 10W chargers).
U r messing with the wrong guy, DUDE.
I have been watching over cellphone industry since 1998 and have been in touch with iphone since 2007 (my rich friend even asked his dad to buy it straight from US) and it was SUCKED BIG TIME (he says it was "ipod with text & call function").
Ever since then, crApple did try to improve iphail (along with the price hike), but crApple STILL capped iphail with limitation in both software & hardware, even go as far as forcing planned obsolescence in the name of "5 years update" (crApple limit the improvement, but upping the RAM usage resources on every iOS update as well as increased RAM usage by apps)

Meanwhile Xiaomi makes bulk of its money from services, so its less inclined to help with customer care.
But I'm astonished you didn't read the article.
The VOOC and Super-VOOC charging protocols are MORE safer than Qualcomm's and Apple's Fast-Charger methods. It stresses the Adaptor, not so much the cells inside the phone. So the batteries will not degrade faster.
And realistically, that's what I want.
If the adaptor burns/explodes, I can easily cut power to it, and replace that adaptor cheaply. If the phone's battery burns/explodes then I lose a much more expensive gadget, not to mention the higher safety risk, and the fact that I lose all my data (contacts, photos, files etc etc).
Do you see what people are trying to tell you?

If you ever used quick charging for a year or so you'd know that it kills your phone's battery. Only a fanboy would not be able to see it. It's funny that you call other people fanboys for telling you the clear truth.
It's true. Only Apple care about her customers so. Hence why she has repeat customers.
