So a digital earphone is OK as a phone companion. But a 3.5mm jack connection is more convenient on a phone because you can use your existing headphones or connect it to other equipment to listen to audio. I personally prefer 3.5mm as I can interchange my headphones. No wireless for me, because it is another hassle to remember to recharge your earbuds.

            Wow, this makes no sense. This means that they are capable of putting a jack on their phone but omitting it from the more expensive variant for absolutely no reason. Or are they trying to make an impression that no jack = more premium? Huawei, please stop this BS, don't you disappoint us again.

                                    To sum it up
                                    yes its currently worse.
                                    Theres no real standard for usb adapters.
                                    Converting anolog to digital creates noise which will effect audio quatily.

                                    Unless you want to get a otg to usb dac like the dragonfly red or another dac then connect the 3.5mm headphones into it. And have a long chain to get decent audio quatily.. and cost stupid money.. heyho..

                                      walkman have headphone jack...mate 20 have headphone jack...mate 20 pro don't have headphone jack...what's up folks.
