Such amazing hardware, let down by Android (no choice), and software that is not optimised.
Still love it though. Would be amazing for watching movies.

Display / Controls / Battery life.. main concerns of gaming.
But i guess its one of the best mobile for gaming when it comes to androids.

and asus have pressure sensitive to imitate trigger button like console controler, gorilla glass 6, higher clocked cpu, 128gb as base model, fm radio, and more

Even the 2D map is lagged. Understable that it was all the time called a RGB toaster in the chat. Nothing better that any other flagship, seems even inferior than traditional ones, only marketing to overprice a product. Even at 15 - 25m in front of the player character the trees lose all details of the foliage and leaves. Better I go to sleep that continue watching that pathetic demostration. Bad idea Razer, you've been busted.

i had the chance to compare running the same games on my wife's note 9 and my razer phone 1- it looks smoother with the 120hz screen, sounds better with the front-firing and independently-amplified speakers, and responds better on the razer phone. so, yes, razer phone does justice to the term "gaming phone". i'm not just so sure of the other "gaming phones".

What ridiculous playing the PUBG LAGGED even at 108ms of ping so hardware lag? Plus the stability of that Gigabit in the phone 100-500 ms ping LOL. And ask you $799 without even an interesting game controller as accesory being a gaming phone, dated design and mediocre camera. But the best $1600 for a notebook with an old nvidia 1060. The Asus ROG is a better phone even if you must pay $100 more.

Is there a single game worthy of a dedicated 1K$ device available on Android? Or two fairly worthy? Or 5 almost worthy? No. Gaming phones are just cheap marketing. No real gamer games on a phone.

To be honest, these "Gaming" phones are all marketing. They have nothing extra that makes them "more" gaming friendly. Some of them even ran slower than a regular flagship phone!
